All I could do is thank God for you.

during dates over fast food and froyos.
For all the walks home late into the night
and the high five by the end of it.

Thank you for finding your way beside me
whenever we are on a group setting.
For wanting to know how I am,
how I feel, and what i think.

Thank you for calling me "the beautiful one"
for appreciating everything I do.
For initiating every time.
For the extra-thoughtfulness.

Thank you.
I never knew I would deserve such things.
That I could be loved that way.
That someone would even bother.

Thank you because you don't expect anything back.
You don't want to monopolize my time,
or are jealous of my attention.
I hope I could be the same for you.
