I used to keep pictures of us together
Keep it in a folder
Inside my computer
Some days I would search for them
Open them in slides and just watch
The twinkle on your eyes
The smile on your lips
That made me giggle inside
Kept them
Sometimes edited them
With captions
"You belong with me"
"Friends forever"
"We're just friends, aren't we?"
With a playful wink emoticon
To signify the future things to come
That never came
