Torment

The throbbing pain in my ears
The sudden rush of my tears
The aching wound of my heart
The torment that will never part

Wretched is my broken hope
Stampeded by a thousand stroke
Of pangs of envy and cuts of jealousy
And the harsh reality that you're not with me

The stifled sob within my soul
The bitterness and the biting cold
Empty silences and forced quietness
Wandering mind filled with regrets

How sweet were the times together
I thought those could not get better
But how cruel that you let me enjoy it
When deep inside you were hiding a secret

What is greater than losing you
