Broken pieces shattered on the floor
Feet bleeding in every step
As I inch towards the distant door
Blood dripped and tears fell
A sullen face, swollen eyes from crying
Memories of unfading smiles are being erased
Gloom and quietness replaced the sweet symphony
As the body takes its beating
The beating of goodbyes and promises forgotten
Good days that have come to an end
Sunny days of happiness and thrill
Now gone leaving me with nothing to feel.
